fit-PC2 Models

fit-PC South Africa introduces fit-PC2: the smallest, most power-efficient Intel Atom PC to date. fit-PC2 architecture is what sets it apart from other nettop PCs. fit-PC2 is designed around the Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz (Z510 1.1GHz models are also available) and the ultra low power Intel US15W system controller hub, rather than the Atom N270 and 945G used in other nettop-PCs, thereby reducing power consumption by more than two thirds. US15W incorporates hardware video acceleration. This allows fit-PC2 to run Windows XP or Linux Mint 9 at just 6W and to play full HD 1080p H.264 video using less than 7W.

fit-VGA DVI to VGA Adapter

An adapter for connecting fit-PC2 to analog VGA displays.

fit-VGA is powered from the DVI port and requires no external power source

Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080

Supports DDC interface for display detection

fit-VGA will work with any computer bringing out DVI-D or HDMI signal

VESA Mounting Bracket

A bracket for fixing fit-PC2 to the back of a flat-screen display or to the wall.

Installation is very simple:

Fix the bracket to the display with the 2 screws provided

Place fit-PC2 against the bracket, align the 3 bracket teeth with the fit-PC2 slots and twist fit-PC2 clockwise

External Heat-Sink for fit-PC2i

The heat-sink is useful for installing fit-PC2 and fit-PC2i in extreme conditions.

Fit-PC2 connects to a large-screen TV through the TV HDMI connector
Audio is not transferred over the HDMI cable and needs to be connected to the analogue audio input

Please note that the length of the HDMI to HDMI connector is 13cm.
